The Rockies dropped two of three against the Dodgers before the loss last night but going back further, they have been playing better overall, going 13-10 over their last 23 games. Colorado is just two games under .500 at home and look to be in a good spot to get the offense back on track. Ty Blach has struggled to a 5.06 ERA but has reverse Coors Field splits as he has a 3.02 ERA and 1.18 WHIP in four home starts, three of those coming against Texas, Philadelphia and Cleveland where he allowed five combined runs in 18.2 innings. Frankie Montas has made 10 starts with only three of those resulting in quality outings. Overall, he has a 4.59 ERA and 4.72 xERA and in four road starts, he has a 6.75 ERA and 1.79 WHIP and now comes Coors Field. The Reds have dropped seven of his last eight starts.
