This is a play on the BOISE ST. BRONCOS for our Friday Free Play. Air Force and Boise St. have a lot on the line with a trip to the MWC Championship in play. After opening the season 8–0, the Falcons have lost three straight games so they head to Boise reeling at the wrong time. This is the best rushing team in the country so the offense is efficient but Air Force is just 75th in rushing explosiveness. Time of possession is a big part of their game but the Falcons have been inconsistent in the redzone and that has been apparent in their last three games. Boise St. won its first game with Spencer Danielson as the interim head coach and it looked great in doing so with a resounding 45–10 victory over Utah St.
While Air Force is known to run the ball, Boise St. does the same and is very successful at it. The Broncos are seventh in Rushing Success Rate and 14th in total Rushing PPA so eating up clock is their gameplan as well. Defensively, they are not as strong but playing at home can quell that where the Broncos are 4–1, the only loss coming to UCF by two points in the second game of the season.
Here, we play against road teams averaging 4.8 or more ypc and after gaining 275 or more rushing yards last game going up against teams allowing between 3.5 and 4.3 ypc. This situation is 52–20 ATS (72.2 percent) over the last five seasons. Play (130) Boise St. Broncos
