This is a play on the BOSTON RED SOX for our Saturday Free Play. Boston had its four-game winning streak snapped with a 7-2 series opening loss on Friday to fall back to one game over .500 and it dropped to 10-14 at home but has a big edge on the mound. Milwaukee remains in first place in the National League Central as it leads the Cubs by 2.5 games but it has been a pretty average stretch as the Brewers are just 9-10 over their last 19 games. After two solid starts to open the season, Nick Pivetta landed on the IL and in his return, his first start came in Atlanta and the Braves lit him up for five runs in four innings but he has recovered with two solid outings, allowing three runs over 11.2 innings. He has a 3.04 ERA and his xERA of 3.41 is in the same ballpark. Colin Rea opened the season with four solid outings but he has been all over the place in his last five starts and his ERA in now 4.07. We expect to see more negative regression as his xERA is 5.56 which is by far the worst of all Brewers starters.
